Blood Brothers Auditions

We are excited to announce that open auditions will be being held this winter for our upcoming Spring show of Blood Brothers (play version).

Auditions are open to those aged 16+ at the date of auditions.

Please note, you do not need to prepare an audition piece beforehand as scripts will be provided on the night of the audition and time allowed to prepare in small groups.

Synopsis

This is the non-musical play version of the hugely successful musical (which is currently being performed professionally, and is thus not available for performance). It tells of twin brothers and what happens when their mother decides to have one of them adopted. Their contrasting upbringing and the hand fate deals them is fast-moving, perceptive and ultimately tragic. This original version is simple to stage, rewarding to act, and is ideal for a large mixed cast.

Please note, by auditioning you confirm that you are available every Thursday evening from 7.45pm-10pm in Leigh for rehearsals along with some additional ad hoc weekend rehearsals (which will be confirmed with cast members beforehand). Performances are taking place in mid-April 2024 and you will be required to attend every performance as well as the dress and technical rehearsals in the days leading up to the show.
